Growing up with a Scottish Mother, Colin began life in isolated, Outback Australia with a Scottish accent, which he kept for around the first 5 years of his life.  Whether it was this early anomaly or simply a divine bolt of eccentric intervention which pushed him into Voiceovers is still a point entirely up for debate.

Colin began in Australian Radio in the early 1990s as a Creative Writer then Announcer.  He met his wife whilst helping set up a Christian Radio station (Radio Rhema), having begun to move into Radio and TV voice work. 

A Drive-time announcer and Creative for many years, Colin also hosted an Australia-wide Radio programme on 'The Heat' network prior to accepting a role as  an 'in-house voice' and Creative at the hub of the Southern Cross Media Network on the Gold Coast, Australia.

Winning a number of voiceover & writing awards In the late 90s (Raward, Goldie Awards, New York Rap Mag Award), Colin then accepted an offer to move to the UK where he became Regional Creative Director for GWR and then GCap Media (now Global Radio) in the United Kingdom.  He continued his success winning ‘Runner Up, Best International Voiceover Artiste’ category of the London International Advertising Awards, a number of Vox Awards for both his writing and his voicework.

 Colin’s voice talents have been used by Pioneer, Sony, Qantas, UK Department of Work and Pensions, Sky TV and Commercial Radio and TV in Europe, Asia-Pacific, India & the US.
