Pavel has been an Actor all his life and a Voice-over for the other half of it.

He has been a Soap star in Eastenders, where he shot Dirty Den – had him shot that is, Riviera – known only by insomniacs, Hollyoaks, Heartbeat, and Doctors – winning a Soap Award and a Royal Television Society Award for Best Single Episode, and Best Drama, in 2007.

For years he was the Tatler lady readers’ pinup of choice as Lord Alexander Felsham in Lovejoy, but when he and Lady Jane divorced went out on his own in theatre and film notching up credits such as GoldenEye, The Bruce, Tattle Tale, and Passport to Murder. Lead television credits such as Krakatoa, Bergerac, and Capital City continued to accrue until he was murdered by a ‘teenage girl pact’ for having raped his own daughter in Silent Witness, only to reappear in the Scottish Courts defending miscreants as the suave Edinburgh barrister Patrick Johnston in River City.

He has been heard for many years seducing us into retail dreams, and imparting vital information. His is the voice of both Big ears and PC Plod in Make Way for Noddy every day on Channel 5, and the last voice our planet may hear if ever the reactors fail to respond to their masters.
