Catherine Mackenzie(Scottish)

Catherine has a crystal-clear, soft Scottish accent.

She can make her accent stronger (really Jock it up!) or soften it down. Her voice is engaging and easy-going and ranges from youthful and cool, to soothing, compassionate warmth ... with a sexy huskiness if that’s what you need. Sounds a lot like Ashley Jensen.

Catherine is quick and witty, and has that natural Scottish banter in spades, meaning comedy comes easily. She also works as a duo with her husband Damian Kell. Catherine and Damian instinctively bounce off each other, bringing bags of fun to the studio. They really deliver that ‘naturally in tune’ chemistry and timing that money just can’t buy.

Catherine also has a great repertoire of character and cartoon voices. She is a talented singer, and can deliver either in her natural voice or in character.

Recent voice work includes a multitude of varied work for BT (they love her!) as well as lending her beautiful Scottish tones to Bank of Scotland, The Telegraph Group, Travel Channel, Yell.com, Jacob’s Creek, Toyota, ActionAid, Huntsworth Health and Nutricia.

A truly versatile artist, Catherine has voiced radio commercials, corporate films and online training, animations, avatars, business presentations, films and documentaries, promos, trailers and podcasts. Catherine also has an extremely wide knowledge of business terminology and is an excellent and focussed sight-reader.
