"Holly Burn - THE BEST OF EDINBURGH"- The Independent
"A great way to spend a fringe afternoon. Geordie power house Holly Burn" - **** Chortle- Julian Hall
“A rip-roaring hour of delicious madness. Living and Dying is surreal, hilarious fun...
The most inventive show I’ve seen at this years fringe - **** Broadway Baby
"A decidedly varied hour of character comedy from the possibly unhinged Geordie, Living and Dying is daring, gloriously self-indulgent and quite unlike anything else you¹ll see at the Fringe... sublime"
- Jay Richardson- London is Funny
‘Highly talented… Wonderfully abstract… surreal’ Time Out London Critics' Choice
'Dangerous but hilarious… Genuinely inspired and edgy... daringly different' Stage
'Bonkers but brilliant! Exceptional' ***** Edinburgh Spotlight
‘Totally compulsive, totally memorable experience, with some surprisingly shrewd twists' LIST
'A total hoot.... unmissable' **** One4Review
"Burn is energetic, enigmatic and undeniably unique.... Burn’s charisma carries the show wonderfully. An original spectacle.... genuine hilarity." Scotsgay
"Burn's bizarre imagination is vivid, boundless and contagious" The List
The Best of Edinburgh - THE INDEPENDENT:
"Absorbing if uneven, and both ridiculous and rewarding at the same time, Holly Burn's mix of character comedy, stand-up and sketches is uniquely bonkers, capturing the spirit of Fringe experimentalism. Previous shows have seen Burn lead an audience to a memorial for her dead dog; another saw her invite them into her house for a site-specific spectacular that was mystifying and mirth-inducing at the same time."
