Karine has an authoratative, smooth, husky, sexy London sound. (Speaks Armenian)
Karine began her career as an actress at the age of 16, having trained initially in dance. She went on to work in TV, stage and also had a career in the music industry, releasing a single in the UK and Europe.
Her most recent role was playing the lead in a play at The Nottingham Playhouse. The challenging role was that of a 15 year-old Armenian orphan who grows into a 28 year-old strong woman, dealing with a husband who is stuck in the trauma of his war-ridden past. The role was significant as Karine is also of Armenian origin.
Prior to this, Karine played the part of Sasha Spencer in The Bill, who was the girlfriend of Benjamin Meadows and also played alongside Caroline Quentin in the ITV drama Life Begins.
Short films Karine has starred in include Secret Sight, the story of a girl possessing a 6th sense and ‘seeing’ peoples secrets.
Having just performed in a showcase at the RSA the part of the lawyer in the film ‘The Accused’, Karine hopes to continue in her career and looks forward to future stage and TV performances.
