Melissa is a total natural in the studio – one take every time!
Melissa Suffield is best known for her role as Lucy Beale in Eastenders, a part she played for six years from the age of 11 until summer 2010. Melissa's additional acting credits include the role of Kate in Bravo Two Zero, Young Lucy in Poirot, Melissa in Magic Grandad and Ghost in Spy TV. Alongside acting, she has also presented a documentary entitled 16: Too Young To Vote? for BBC Three, voiced Cbeebies programme Boo!, and reported for the BBC Watchdog programme.
At the end of 2010 Melissa played her first theatrical role as Sheila in The Cock Tavern Theatre's production of the Edward Bond play Olly's Prison and in December she turned 18 while making her pantomime debut as Belle in Beauty and the Beast at the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone. The production will be going on a UK tour in 2011.
Melissa has recently returned from Argentina where she was filming for the new series of Celebrity Total Wipeout
