Shirley & Shirley biog

Shirley & Shirley (Joanna Carolan and Pascale Wilson) are both trained actresses (Drama Studio London, Central School of Speech and Drama respectively) and have been performing sell-out shows out on the comedy circuit for just over 3 years. They have written and performed three shows for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Assembly) and filmed a series of shorts for BBC Online Comedy.

Shirley & Shirley met at school and have been friends for over 18 years. They are consummate improvisers with a tangible onstage chemistry. They can riff off one another effortlessly in a variety of accents and have amassed a multitude of characters they can draw upon.

Recent comedic roles in David Cross’ ‘The Increasingly Poor decisions of Todd Margaret’ (C4)  Cardinal Burns (E4) BT Vision Drama Idents (C4) and in April of last they year were invited to present at The People’s Music Awards alongside Stephen K Amos.
